SoCal Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Conference Attracts Thousands – Invitation Still Open for More
LOS ANGELES, CA – October 18, 2018 – AI & Data Science enthusiasts, engineers, blockchain developers, business leaders, and promising students will gather to strategize how artificial intelligence and data science will shape the future of human efficiency on October 20th at IDEAS SoCal AI & Data Science Conference 2018. Hosted by International Data Engineering and Science Association (IDEAS), the invigorating gathering of tech minds includes more than 100 speakers in eight sessions. More than 3,000 attendees are expected to attend—but there’s room for more!
“The goad for IDEAS, as a professional non-profit organization, is to bridge the gap between academia and the industry,” says Jason Geng, chair of the conference committee in 2018. “IDEAS have hosted numerous conferences across the U.S. in the past few years, the organization believes AI & Data Science will bring the next revolution of the Internet.”
This year’s conference will span the breadth and depth of AI, data science, big data, digital marketing, gaming, analytics, healthcare, FinTech, and IOT. Meanwhile, blockchain fans will have the chance to network with industry experts in the IDEAS Blockchain Leadership Connect, a dedicated conference section to discuss distributed applications. Workshops have been designed to assist budding AI & Data Science enthusiasts to propel their career forward by teaching them the foundation machine learning and blockchain technology.
Guest speakers include Abhishek Gupta, Head of Product at Uber; Alexis Roos, Director of Data Science of Salesforce; Andrew Zhang, Watson Cloud at IBM; Mary Wahl, Data Scientist from Microsoft; Madhkar Kumar, VP of Outbound Product Management at Redis Labs; Juan Vasquez and Kimberly Rodriguez from Data Programs of City of Los Angeles. These are just a few of the brilliant minds that will demonstrate real-world application of AI and Data Science. More than ten professors from the University of California, University of Southern California and nearby colleges in LA will present their researches.
In addition to a trailblazing lineup of keynote speakers, the organizers of IDEAS will offer on-site career guidance for up-and-coming students in the field of AI & Data Science.
